All of my logos are in various directions ... these are the 5 that I choose to refine and the many iterations that I did while working on them. They are all still pretty rough, mostly just digitized of my sketches.

A concept that's coming through in your first three (less in the second, but it's still there) is this sense of a larger shape supporting a smaller similar shape (or shapes). The stones are interesting as a sketch; try to get that sense of the sketch conveyed in digital form (start with a scan and see if you can get your hands on a stylus). For the first idea, remove some detail and then infuse your company's personality into the elements that remain.
ReplyDeleteFor the third idea, simplify in order to increase meaning and ambiguity (less recognizable as a pea pod, ship, or boat). This will strengthen the symbol, and allow you to apply your personality to the elements you use.
